This travel poster design was made to highlight the history and feel of the city of Baltimore Maryland. The piece was inspired by minimalism and band gig posters. The history of Baltimore is feature in the vintage-style lamppost that are often found lining the streets. A fall-creepy feeling was captured in this piece through the color palette, use of texture and the addition of the black silhouette of the bird the Raven. This bird not only has connections through the city’s football team, the Baltimore Ravens, but also through the poet Edgar Allen Poe, who resided and later died in Baltimore.
